The Salsa Queen does her Thing



With a huge stash of crackers, a mind-blowing mango salsa had to follow. This one made with nearly all local, mostly bartered-for ingredients.

Cracker & Macaroon making session



The extra batter was used to make pizza crusts. Emily made a variety of crackers (with fresh basil & oregano) and some were topped with black salt and others spiced with cayenne. The macaroons can be seen on the right: Vanilla, Plain & Chocolate - delicious.

Kim Chi Prep


We traded for cabbage at the market and made some Kim Chi with white & red cabbage, carrots, fennel, caraway seed, red & black Hawaiian salt & home-grown cayenne peppers.

Live Lasagna




Emily made this incredible lasagna with an almond-based "Ricotta", a local tomato-based marinara, and local zucchini. We enjoyed this atop the treehouse with a nice sunset. Filthy enjoyed watching the preparation and smelling the results.

A spiders web had this cricket trapped. Shortly after this was filmed the cricket broke free on its own.

Berry mint chia breakfast


This was a mix of berries with ground milk thistle seed, carob, mesquite, hemp protein powder, shredded apple, etc. quick to prepare - tastes great.

Apricots & Wild Greens


This mix included sorrel, fennel, red dandelion, alpine mint, fresh oregano, nasturtium flowers & leaves, avocado, dulse, pea shoots, french lentil sprouts, lemon and love from divine beings.
